Xiomara and Bryan | Biota Dining, Bowral

I first me Xiomara and Bryan by chance. A lovely bride to be and I had exchanged emails a year or so ago, locked in a date, and spoke of getting together closer to the big day to confirm details and make plans. A good 6 months or more later, I was enjoying a girls night out, when a couple stopped by to say hello to one of my girlfriends .... and quickly looked over at me and told me I was to be their wedding photographer! Turns out people ACTUALLY look at my picture on my website (which, I should probably update!!). I remember wishing I had consumed one less cocktail that evening, reminding myself that in small town, you have every chance of bumping in to someone you know (or will get to know), but I couldn't have been that bad ... Bryan and Xiomara didn't cancel their wedding photographer after our chance encounter :)

Their big day seemed to roll around really fast. The festivities were to unfold at the gorgeous Biota Dining, one of THE most beautiful restaurants in the Highlands, with a 5pm ceremony followed by a night full of fine food, music, and company. They were married on the lawn under the iconic Biota tree by Sue Jackman (a local favourite!). In a beautiful touch, Ray from the Fingerprint Tree was commissioned to draw the Biota Tree for their own personal fine art fingerprint guest book. It was a joy to watch each guest leave their mark on that artwork throughout the night. Their guests meandered around the entire property, grazing on amazing food, warming themselves around the fire-pit, and later dancing the night away.
